The period power movement is here to champion for menstrual health education and we want YOU to win! It’s no secret that period shame is still real and there’s still a lot to be done to normalise the talk of menstruation. We’ve all been there or heard the stories of girls trying to hide it, feeling shame or disgust. Our flow, like our bodies, are our business and tbqfh we’re so ready to make this a normal conversation, as it should be.
According to our COSMO Period Survey last year, 90,1% of our audience felt that there wasn’t enough education in schools about menstruation and feminine healthcare. This motivated us even more to highlight the #COSMOPeriodPower Movement in partnership with Stayfree. It’s so important for young girls to feel empowered, to speak about their bodies openly and with pride, and to get the information they need most.
For your chance to win one of 4 cash prizes worth R5 000 each courtesy of Stayfree, tell us about an inspiring femme female, queen or mo’ghel who’s going over and above for girls and highlighting the importance of menstrual health education. Your participation not only gets you closer to R5 000 (I mean, who could resist?) but you’re also helping others see menstruation as feminine power! If you haven’t already signed our petition – what you waiting for? You can help us make period education mandatory in schools.
This competition is now closed.
