Huawei KDay, inspired by the Huawei Nova 5T will be at the Meerendal Wine Estate once again. The festival is taking place on 7 March and we can hardly wait to party with our fave local artists and kFM’s fierce presenters.
The reason we love listening to Sherlin Barends, Sibongile Mafu, Tracey Lange and Zoë Brown on-air is simple: they’re funny AF! They’ve also been the ultimate hype women and causing even more excitement for the incredible female artists on the lineup, including Shekhinah, Tarryn Lamb, Claire Johnston (Mango Groove), Jules Harding (GoodLuck) and Rowlene.
We caught up with Rowlene for a sneak peek into her performance on the day and she couldn’t hide her excitement. ‘I’m still nervous and still working on the absolute heartwarming set. It’s my first time and I want it to be nothing short of amazing’, she said. She considers herself an R&B singer and wants people to be moved by her performance on the day.
The best local artists are performing
