If you’re all about doing it for the ‘gram, here are the spaces in South Africa you have to visit.
The colourful houses and cobblestoned streets of Bo-Kaap make for the perfect backdrop for a IG pic that’s worthy of all of the double taps. If a vibrant IG feed is what you’re after, you’re gonna wanna include a few snaps of this Cape Town neighbourhood.
Wally’s Cave *Currently closed until further notice
One you’ve found this spot on Lion’s Head, Wally’s Cave is the perfect spot for the ultimate ‘silhouette shot’.
The Amphitheatre, Drakensberg
Nothing says the ‘great outdoors’ like the amphitheatre in the Drakensberg.⛰
If you’re from Cape Town and haven’t posted an image of yourself on Lion’s Head, do you even go here?🤔 Not only will you get the most beautiful images from the top, the way up isn’t too strenuous and totally worth it. Go at night for the most spectacular view of the city by night.✨
Bot River Canola fields
Around August each year, the fields near the Bot River become covered with a bed of yellow Canola flowers. It’s the perfect setting to introducespring to your IG feed!
It’s no surprise that Table Mountain is one of the most Instagrammed places in SA. Whether you’re taking a pic of the view from the top or its silhouette, it’s basically guaranteed that you’re gonna get an image fit for the ‘gram. And ICYMI, a ride up the cableway is free on your birthday!🙌🏾
Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens
In addition to the most beautiful flowers and greenery this UNESCO World Heritage Site has to offer, the photo ops are endless (not to mention effortless AF).🌼🌸🌺
Most of our beaches are IG-worthy, TBH, but Boulders Beach is on a different level thanks to the colony of penguins that inhabit it.🐧🐧🐧
