Ok, so, THIS is the trend that 99.9% of celebs are wearing on the red carpet this 2020

*Hint – puffer me up.

Nothing gets us going more than a new trend that pops up on the red carpet. Throughout the years we have seen it all: naked dresses, higher-than-high thigh-high slits, sweet-heart necklines and even visible g-strings, but this one might just be the most loved and adored trend come 2020 and it’s all about puff-sleeves.

Although the trend has been in and out of the style scene for decades (Princess Diana even wore puff sleeves on her wedding day), and it’s definitely trending on the streets, we’re now spotting it on the red carpet!

Awards season is here, and we’ve already seen the trend hitting the Golden Globes and SAG Awards red carpets harder than admin on a Friday afternoon.

It’s official, this is the trend that 99.9% of celebs are wearing on the red carpet this 2020

1 Zoey Deutch

Channel a cheese puff but *make it fashion*. This understated canary-yellow long-sleeve couture jumpsuit with billowing sleeves by Fendi is what dreams are made of. Zoey looks très cute at the 2020 Golden Globes.

2 Dakota Fanning

This is a total Disney-princess moment, and let’s not forget even Cinderella rocked puff sleeves on her wedding day. This lavender gown by Dior is a total puff-sleeve hit!

3 Kaitlyn Dever

If you wanna try this trend but don’t want to go too OTT with it, a distraction is always a good idea (no, we are not talking about the Fiji water girl standing in the background). Try out a crazy print like Kaitlyn did in this Valentino dress, you’ll still have the drama but it’s PG.

4 Bel Powley

Taking cue from the Victorian era — this milkmaid dress with extravagant sleeves could upstage Marie Antoinette at any bougie banquet.

Now these are puff sleeves! We wouldn’t advise trying these at home if you plan on fitting down the passageway, but nonetheless they make a helluva good time on the red carpet, am I right??

8 Millie Bobby Brown

Our lil Netflix angel couldn’t look more perfect in this subtle puff-sleeve Louis Vuitton creation at the SAG Awards. Is it a dress, is it a suit? Frankly, who cares? All we know is that we love a good hybrid fashion moment.

10 Nicole Kidman

Nicole ever-so-slightly dips her toes into the puff-sleeve trend before she dives in. Ok, Nicole, we still see you. Do the damn trend but keep it under wraps.
