Fairy Godmother has waved her magic wand

Fash fans we are just matric dance crazy ATM, and it seems like actress Thuso Mbedu has also cottoned on to the dance fever in the air because she is giving three lucky girls the opportunity to own dresses that have marked the most important moments in her career.

On Thursday, Thuso shared on her Instagram page that this year she would like to do something for three girls who have excelled in academics or in sports. Hint, hint… now is a great time to take up hockey or extra maths, just saying.

Here Are the 3 Stunning Dresses up for Grabs

The first dress up for grabs is a stunning gunmetal sequin and feathered body hugger dress. If you are OTT than this dress was made for you. The actress wore this jaw-dropping gown to the Emmys, what could be more iconic than that? Designed by the winner of the first season of Project Runway SA.

My sister. My motivator. My size. My stylist: whenever we go out together I always have to know what she is wearing first and plan around that. When it is about ME I threaten her and tell her that she cannot dress better than me and I have to approve the dress before it is made😂🤣😂 What’s hers is mine, what’s mine is mine. You know it. She wore her gorgeous dress on the night I won my first ever #SAFTA award for Best Actress in a Drama Series. My sister has generously donated this dress to be gifted to a lucky Grade12 pupil for this years matric dance. The catch? It will be going to a pupil who has thus far excelled academically. How do you enter? Just send your report card to info@lemuelmanagement.co.za You do not need to send a motivational letter or references. Just your report card. Please note that we will not be responding to DMs. Only entries sent to the email listed above will be considered. The dresses were custom made so I cannot give an exact size but I generally fall into the Small, 30/32 category Dress by @reedscollection (based in Nelspruit)

Those who know me know that I hold applying oneself academically and sports-ally very close to my heart. So this year I would like to do something for three girls who have excelled in these spaces. I have three dresses that have marked important moments in my career and I would like to gift them to these girls. You can either submit yourself or nominate someone else if you know that they do not have access to social media. When I wore this first dress it was my first time in Kenya for MTV Shuga DS Premiere. What a beautiful and magical night! The work that MTV Shuga does globally to educate and bring change is inspiring and one day I only hope to make an impact in the world. In the spirit of giving I will be giving away this dress to a lucky matriculant for their matric dance. You need to demonstrate that you have excelled in SPORTS this year in order to qualify. • Please send your entry to info@lemuelmanagement.co.za • Please note that we will not be responding to DMs. • Only entries sent to the email listed above will be considered. The dresses were custom made so I cannot give an exact size but I generally fall into the Small, 30/32 category. Dress by @blackmarblesa (based in Pretoria)
