Team COSMO takes part in the pillow challenge, giggles for days

It’s called quarantine couture, look it up

ICYMI, the latest style trend on the ‘Gram and TikTok involves a pillow and the COSMO team decided to jump onto the bandwagon. The #quarentinepillowchallenge is what they’re calling it, and it is hilarious.

How do you get involved? Strap or belt a pillow onto your torso, accessorise it with shoes, a bag or your dog and take a snap! Add to social media and hashtag #quarentinepillowchallenge. We’ve gotta admit, and take this from someone who has actively participated in the trend, this is potentially one of the most bizarre, funny and weirdly fun activities we’ve experienced since lockdown day #1.

Spoiler alert: Whoever you’re isolating with may or may not think you have officially lost the plot. Spoiler alert 2: You may uncontrollably laugh while getting said isolation buddy to snap a pic of you donning a pillow (a mirror selfie may be a better option). Spoiler alert 3: Your booty may face a slight chill while you’re baring it out to get your snap.

See how the COSMO team got involved in the pillow challenge:

1 Clare Robertson, Fashion Editor (Me, LOL)

Naked sandals, a gold mini handbag, OTT shades and a chunky gold chain makes for some serious quarantine-chic style.

2 Ashleigh Engel, Social Media Manager

Donning a denim ‘dress’, paired with fishnet socks and stilettos. Ash really backed it up in an Off White belt and picture-perfect pose.

3 Cleo Marcopoulos, Fashion Director

Did someone say domestic Greek goddess? Cleo caught mid-staircase, dressed in gloves, sneakers and dark shades whilst clutching onto her vanity case – signalling she’s definitely up to something sassy.

4 Amber Barker, Fashion and Beauty Assistant

A skinny belt, perspex tote and Versace shades call for one helluva look. You could swear she was busy shooting a fashion editorial in her bedroom. The dog is a cute touch, too.

5 Maria Small-Smith, Production Assistant

We are in love with this French-inspired nautical number, M! The neck scarf, gold hoops and red lip really seal the deal. How cute is she though?
