With summer on its way in Europe, the French Riviera becomes the hottest place to be from 8 to 19 May as the 71st Cannes Film Festival takes place. Everyone who has made it in the film industry will be strutting their stuff on the red carpet, coupled with non-stop busy days of screenings, meetings, networking and, most importantly, parties. JK – we can’t wait to keep seeing who is flourishing on the red carpet and the films being screened and, of course, who will win the Palme d’Or (The Golden Palm), which is the top Cannes Film Festival award. Cate Blanchett is the twelfth woman to lead the jury – an important feat for #GIRLPOWER!
