Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (AKA Kate Middleton) is out in full force this week, on a whirlwind 24-hour tour of the country to promote a new study on early childhood development.
Starting in Birmingham on Tuesday, the Duchess made sure to pull out all the stops for the three-city tour, which is good news for fashion fans.
AKA multiple engagements means an outfit change or two for the royal, ahhh Kate she gives the people what they want.
The Duchess arrived in style in Cardiff to attend a class at the Ely and Careau Children’s Centre wearing a brown camel coat, black turtle neck and a Zara silk leopard skirt (which is currently on sale for around R190) for the engagement.
Accessorising the look a pair of long black suede Ralph Lauren boots and an on-trend gold pendant chain, Kate opted for wavy curls to complete the look instead of her signature polished blowout.
Think this outfit seems familiar? You’re not wrong there, with Kate taking a leaf out of Meghan Markle’s book, who wore a very similar look to her last royal engagement at Canada House in London.
While Kate’s R6 500 Massimo Dutti coat is a more formal full-length A-line double-breasted style, Meghan’s camel Reiss coat, also around R6 500, was slightly shorter, with a more tailored smarter silhouette.
But that’s not the only similarity between the sister-in-law’s looks, with both women opting for silk maxi skirts and turtle necks in shades of brown to complement the camel coats.
Not going to lie, we’re totally obsessed with this lewk and are already planning to wear something similar to the office next week.
Unsurprisingly, both coats have already sold out, proving the Meghan and Kate effect are still in full force.
