Stop what you are doing! Here is every look from Kate Middleton Pakistan royal tour

Including the Duchess’ sweet nod to Princess Diana.

Last night the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge officially kicked off the royal tour of Pakistan and boy, we are excited. For those playing at home, royal tours essentially mean a daily dose of cute royal outings and plenty more outfit ideas.

The tour might have only just started but Kate Middleton is already serving up some stellar style, including a sweet nod to her mother-in-law, Diana, Princess of Wales.

Scroll down to see the Duchess’ best looks so far.

Due to the dress’ bling-factor, the Duchess kept her accessories to a minimum, opting for her heirloom engagement ring and a pair of dangling gold earrings.

For her latest public appearance meeting Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan at his official residence, Kate Middleton wore a seafoam green coat dress, with contrasting white trousers – channelling a similar look worn by her mother-in-law, Princess Diana, back in 1991.

Kate finished the look with a pair of ornate diamond-shaped earrings and an emerald green scarf.

Here’s Princess Diana wearing a near-identical coloured coat dress during her royal tour of Pakistan. The only difference is Diana’s outfit has gold buttons, instead of matching green ones, and omits the trousers (and shoes, out of respect) during her visit to the Badshahi Mosque In Lahore.

For her next public appearance, Kate stepped out wearing a traditional cornflower blue version of the traditional dress, with intricate embroidery around the neckline, a matching scarf and pair of pointed-toe flats.

Outfit details aside, can we also take a second to talk about how fire Kate’s hair and makeup is? Love that fresh blow-dry.

Overnight the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge touched down in Pakistan marking the start of their 2019 royal tour. For the occasion, Kate Middleton opted for a conservative ombré blue Catherine Walker dress with long sleeves and a draped neckline coupled with a pair of matching trousers (the traditional coordinate combo referred to as a salwar kameez) and neutral pumps.

Of course, Kate finished the look with a pair of topaz toned earrings, making for one effortlessly chic look.

Here’s the outfit again in full-length. And if you think it looks kind of familiar, you’re not wrong, with the Duchess’ mother-in-law wearing a very similar look for her own Pakistan royal tour back in 1996…

During her Pakistan royal tour, Princess Diana opted for a similar powder blue salwar kameez with long sleeves and a matching scarf draped around the neck. The Princess of Wales teamed the dress with a pair of rounded-toe ballet flats, however, Diana’s outfit differed from Kate’s insofar as the piece was one-tone (instead of ombré) and featured button detailing down the front.

Diana had her own spin on the jewellery-front, opting for a pair of eighties-inspired statement pearl stud earrings.
