Selena Gomez has been a fan of the brand for years, has starred in their campaigns and partnered up with the brand for an incredible collab collection. Creative director, Stuart Vevers, calls her a natural collaborator and muse saying: ‘I love working with Selena because she brings her strong point of view to the design process.’

Other celebs that have worked with the brand include Adwoa Aboah, Sasha Lane and Chloë Moretz.

The Store:

The 141 square-meter store, designed by Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers and co., is a chic as they come (think the sophisticated yet playful refinement of New York as their inspo) and will lure you in with its handbags footwear, accessories, and jewellery.

And, that’s not all, it will also offer special services including personalised monogramming – so you can get your very own Coach bag with your initials.

The Event:

Last night, the brand hosted a special event to celebrate the store opening and all our local faves were there including Ayanda Thabethe, Lulama Wolf, Tshepang Mollison and Sara Langa.

Coach also made headlines earlier this week for being the latest brand to ban fur. Coach’s Chief Executive, Joshua Shulman, said that this decision came as a reaction to what the brand’s customers were asking for: ‘We understood from our employee population and from our consumers that it was important to them that we take a stand on this issue.’

Yaas Coach, smiles all round.
