H&M Collabs with a Local Designer and We Haven't Been This Excited in a While

…and we mean it.

South African designers are currently slaying the fashion game and here is one to add to our list of champions: Palesa Mokubung, the mastermind behind Mantsho. The South African designer is known for her vibrant fabrics, bold and edgy designs with distant silhouettes and structures and this collaboration is sure to add a dose of fun as well as a South African aesthetic to H&M customer around the world.

Girl, you read right – we are going world wide.

The collection will be available from the 15th of August in all South African stores as well as selected flagship stores in the United States of America, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Portugal, The Netherlands, Belgium, Mexico, Chile and Israel.

Mantsho, which means ‘black is beautiful’ in Palesa Mokubung mother tongue, Sesotho, was established in 2014 and has taken the world by storm showcasing on runways around the good including the USA, India, Greece, Jamaica, Nigeria, Botswana and Senegal. Mathsho prides itself as a ready-to-wear collection and this exclusive collaboration fulfils this promise.
