Every Outfit Beyoncé Wore at the Global Citizen Festival

Queen 🐝 slayed the stage!

If, for some reason, you’ve been living under a rock then you would have totes missed the fact that arguably the greatest female entertainer ever to live was right here on South African soil. And yes, we’re talking ’bout the one and only – Beyoncé.

Yesterday, the FNB stadium hosted some of the world’s most talented performers at the 2018 Global Citizen Festival in honour of Nelson Mandela’s centurion birthday. Johannesburg was filled with excitement as performers such as Ed Sheraan (eeek!) and Chris Martin took the stage.

Beyoncé and her rapper hubby, Jay-Z, closed the show with an amazing 2-hour set. We were so excited about Queen Bey being on local soil, andobvs, her outfits were a massive highlight.

Keep scrolling to see every outfit Yoncé wore at the Global Citizen Festival.

Beyoncé wore this amazing Versace number during her performance of Formation. It was so fitting as yesterday was Gianni Versace’s birthday as well as the Versace pre-fall collection preview.

This pink ensemble is undoubtedly the stand-out piece from the evening. The dress flowed perfectly with Bey’s dance moves.

This emerald look was deigned by South African designers! Enhle Mbali, Manual Ross Apparel and Quiteria & George teamed up for this killa look. We are in absolute awe and so proud of these local ladies for dressing Bey!

Here’s what Enhle had to say about creating this special look for Bey:

‘I’m very happy to have collaborated with Quiteria and George. They are great artists as I am a creative mind and organising machine. A lot went into this – sweat, money and physical exertion but seeing the beautiful outfit close the show brought nothing but tears to my eyes.’

This outfit gave us all kind of Wakanda vibes – Beyoncé looked ready to sour off the stage.

Here are 2 videos of Bey killing her performances.
