The most talked-about moments this season at Paris Fashion Week

ICYMI ?

Paris Fashion Week

Following on from London, New York and Milan, Paris Fashion Week is the industry’s homestretch, ending a month-long run of elaborate shows and globetrotting. The industries biggest fashion houses showcased their haute couture collections and naturally, there were a few crazy moments and designers that really pushed the boundaries, making it the most wonderful (fashion) time of the year.

ICYMI, these are the most talked-about moments this season at Paris Fashion Week:

1 Maison Rabih Kayrouz

This kinda looks like a paper cutout project from our grade 3 archives but snaps to them for being creative. We love!

2 Dior

Drawing their inspiration from the Goddess Athena, every look was classic and elegant.

3 Chanel

We always look forward to a Chanel show and the crazy setups! There were no rockets this year as brands are striving to make more sustainable decisions. Here for this. We loved their more simplistic approach this year that involved models walking through a chic courtyard at the Grand Palais (how very French of them!).

4 Ralph & Russo

Can we get married in this one day? We loved the boldness on the Ralph and Russo runway.

5 Viktor & Rolf

Who could forget the OTT statement meme dresses from last year, this year they were inspired by patchwork and made pieces from leftover and recycled materials while still keeping it interesting.

6 Givenchy

Forgot to pack in sunblock? Don’t worry these oversized hats will have your back *literally and figuratively*

7 Uhm, we don’t quite know what’s going on here but it had to be shared.

It’s a moment.

8 Cardi B

Excuse us while we interrupt your runway round-up with content of Cardi B from fashion week. Our thoughts on this ensemble change every time we look at it.

9 Jean Paul Gaultier

His final walk down the runway before he retires and fans went wild with praise.

Also, this sailor-inspired moment with Gigi makes us want to go join the navy or something.

This just looks like something outta a scene of Gossip Girl, so obvi we love it. XOXO

11. Iris Van Herpen

Always by far the most innovative on the runway.
