The Youth-Powered Network For Creators
NTWRK AREA3 was created from the evolution of the adidas AREA3 pop-up and standalone space from years back. This platform connects and celebrates young creatives and supplies them with adidas product and budget to bring their creative vision to life. Young creators are identified based on the strength of their creative output on Instagram and the evidence of an engaged community. The aim is to align the creator with a product story that feels authentic – which is what photographer Hana Jayne Sho and former COSMO Cover Star Nadia Jaftha achieved in their ’90s-inspired lookbook for the @adidasza #RYV and EQT Gazelle ranges.
The ’90s Dream Collab
Hana Jayne Sho is a photographer, model/actress and visual artist based in Cape Town and her collaboration with the content kween, Nadia Jaftha is the epitome of a ’90s daydream. They captured the ’90s spirit of adidas EQT Gazelle and made us feel nostalgic AF.
The Equipment Gazelle takes inspiration from a late 90s running style. Featuring a lightweight textile upper, these trainers fuse the archive design with modern details.
EQT Gazelle, The New Icon
Originals bring the EQT Gazelle to the future by taking inspiration from the 1999 Equipment Gazelle, one of adidas’ boldest running designs and merging it with a distinctly contemporary midsole. It features the supple leather of the original model combined seamlessly with textured overlays, a hologram tongue logo, and an updated EVA midsole – establishing this pair as a new icon in the adidas Originals collection.
