‘Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together’ – Marilyn Monroe
We’ve all gone through break-ups – they can be devastating and you may take months or even years to properly move on. It can be extremely difficult to get out of that post-break-up slump but letting go of a relationship can sometimes benefit you.
We all break-up for different reasons (you’re no longer in love, one of you cheated, bad timing, etc) but here are a few tips everyone can use to move forward.
1. Breaking up gives you time to be on your own and reflect – you can focus on you and reevaluate what you want in life.
2. You have more time to spend with your friends and even reconnect with friends you may have neglected while you were in your relationship.

3. You can redirect your negative energy and focus on a new project/work promotion/hobby that will build up your self-esteem.

4. Going through a big change can help you grow. You have time to reflect (not dwell) on what went wrong in the relationship, and can figure out what it is you want/don’t want in a future partner.
