Here’s What to Do This Heritage Day
Party up a storm with HQ, Roast & Co. and Heritage Square
On 23 September, HQ, Roast & Co. and Heritage Square are celebrating Heritage Day by throwing an epic party featuring some of the best local artists in the country, including GOODLUCK and CRAZY WHITE BOY.
In addition to the proudly SA acts, you can also expect to be entertained by African face painters, dancers, percussionists, and many more local additions.

Visit the Constitution Hill Museum
Constitution Hill Museum will be offering free general admission and self-guided tours this Heritage Day. If you haven’t checked out the museum yet, here’s your chance.
Embrace your natural hair at the Johannesburg Natural Hair expo
Celebrate your natural hair this Heritage Day at the Johannesburg Natural Hair expo on 24 September from 8am at Constitutional Hill.
You can expect natural hair product exhibitors from across the continent, Unique African merchandise, music, entertainment, delicious food and a great space for the kids to be entertained. All tickets also include a free walking tour of Constitutional Hill!
Kids under 12 enter for free, while general entry tickets cost R120.

Visit a market
Visit one of the many markets taking place around Heritage Day around the country, like the Heritage Market at Carnival City
The Carnival City Heritage Day Market will take place on 23 and 24 September from 10am-6pm.
