Easy and delicious recipes are the simplest way to make us happy. Even if the kitchen isn’t your sanctuary, you can’t mess up these recipes. So get ready to make a triple-stacked vegan burger, blue cheese nachos and upgrade your bloody mary for the ultimate girls’ night in.  

Each of these delicious recipes has a star ingredient that completely transforms the flavour: Knorr salad dressings. Triple-stacked Vegan Burger

Making black bean patties from scratch is pretty straightforward. The next time you have friends over, treat them to this tasty burger with Knorr Honey & Mustard Salad Dressing. 

Ingredients for the Black Bean Patty (4 servings)

  • 2 cans black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots, shredded
  • ½ cup oats (50 g)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon coriander
  • ½ teaspoon chilli powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a pan then combine onions, garlic, salt, and pepper and cook until onions are translucent.

Step 2
Now add the carrots, cumin, coriander, chilli powder, and cayenne pepper until carrots are tender. Then remove the pan from the heat.

Step 3
In a bowl, mash the beans and then add the contents of the pan, with soy sauce and the oats.

Step 4
Mix and form the patties. Rest for 30 minutes.

Step 5
Cook patties in a pan coated in cooking spray over medium heat, flipping halfway.

Step 6
Build your burger with rolls, lettuce, tomato, onion rings, pickles and Knorr Honey & Mustard Dressing.

Delicious Blue Cheese Nachos 

Nachos are flavourful, effortless to make and a crowd favourite. This recipe includes Knorr Blue Cheese Dressing and beef. However, you can easily swap the beef for Knorr Future 50 Foods like lentils and black turtle beans to enjoy an equally delicious meat-free alternative. 

Ingredients for the Nachos 

  • 450 g ground beef/lentils and black turtle beans
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups skim milk
  • 120 g Blue cheese (crumbled)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 large white onion (diced)
  • 230 g tortilla chips 
  • Tomato (diced)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 jalapeño (sliced)
  • 1/4 large red onion (quartered and sliced)
  • Knorr Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing
  • 3 tablespoons (unsalted) butter


Step 1
In a saucepan on medium heat, add the butter. Once melted, add the flour and slowly pour in the milk bit by bit. Keep whisking until a smooth consistency is reached.

Step 2
Once the milk mixture is boiled, remove from the heat. Then add blue cheese and whisk until melted. Season with salt and pepper and cover to prevent a skin from forming on the sauce.

Step 3
Add oil and ground beef to a pan on medium-high heat. Then season with salt and pepper and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 4
Add the diced onion to the pan and cook until the onions are tender and the beef is fully cooked. Remove from the heat and set aside.

Step 5
Create a layer of tortilla chips and pour the blue cheese sauce over the chips. Then add the cooked beef, crumbled blue cheese, chopped tomato, parsley, jalapeños and onion. Drizzle with Knorr Blue Cheese Dressing.

Upgraded Bloody Mary 

Life’s too short for a basic bloody mary and this recipe includes waffles and Knorr Sweet Chilli Salad Dressing – it’s the secret ingredient you never knew you needed. OTT? Yes, but it’s delicious. 

Ingredients for the Bloody Mary Mix

  • 2 cups tomato juice
  • 240 ml vodka
  • 2 tablespoons Worcester sauce
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish
  •  2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
  • 5 ml Knorr Sweet & Spicy Salad Dressing

Ingredients for Serving 

  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • Lemon wedges
  •  Celery salt, for rimming glass
  • Ice, for serving


Step 1
In a large pitcher, stir together tomato juice, vodka, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, tabasco sauce, lemon juice and Knorr Sweet & Spicy Dressing. Season generously with black pepper.

Step 2
Rub lemon wedges on rims of glasses, and dip into the celery salt. Add ice to glasses, then pour Bloody Mary mixture over top.

Step 3
Add waffle slices

Step 4
Skewer olives or pickles for extra tang
