Your Weekly Tarot Card Reading, Based on Your Sign

If you play your cards right, you’ll have a great week!

You don’t need to be a tarot card pro to get your cards read. All you need: your Sun sign! Here’s what I do: Shuffle my tarot deck and pull out the cards in order from Aries to Pisces plus one general card for everyone so that you can get specific advice around your personality.

Basically, if your bank account is not ready for a full tarot reading just yet, this one should help tide you over for now!

This is a tough tarot card, TBH. It can be depicting relationship turmoil and even betrayal, OR something from the past that still haunts you, rather than an impending event. Either way, examine your relationship landscape this week.

Identify the root causes of any actual strife or potential trouble on the horizon. And then do what you need to remove it from your life (easier said than done, obvi.)

A lesson is a lesson, no matter how it comes to you. The Five of Cups advises you to stop playing a harsh moment from your past over and over again in your mind. Instead, accept and atone for your role in things, then seek the life lesson you can take from it. Finally, file the past away and turn to face your future–older, wiser and ready for what’s next!

Education is a key theme for this card. Perhaps it represents something literal, like a course or workshop you’d like to enrol in, or it could reflect an insight about a situation, person, or even your own motivations. Taurus, you’re already a diligent analyzer and love to ruminate, so indulge this side of yourself this week! Set aside time for contemplation.

Gemmy, you have a shady side (we all do–yours is just more, er, pronounced.) Justice is a little reminder from the universe to play a little fairer this week! You have a sharp mind (and tongue!) and you love to get the better of those who rile you up. But, TBH, you’ll probably just feel guilty about it later, while accruing bad karma (which always finds its way home.). Be nice, and things will smooth over soon enough, sans drama.

Anything you’ve been wanting to fade out from your life, be assured that you’re doing the right thing…and get on with it! Of all the signs, you cling to things or relationships waaaaay longer than you should, Cancer. The Six of Swords is a sign that it is time to move on, and you’re readier than you think you are to make this important move. Do it this week!

You’re such a great friend and protector of those you love–we all need a Leo in our corner! Look around your friend group this week for someone who’s a little quieter than usual or seems off somehow. They need you, Leo. Help them talk it out and give them some advice–you’re perfectly placed to perform that role, so lean into those who might need you.

You are SO like the Queen of Coins yourself, Virgo (pragmatic, measured, wise, materialistic) so this is a week to put your best self forward and go for the material rewards you deserve.

Ask for that raise, apply to that job–whatever it is you can do to feather your nest, do it this week!

The thread that ties you to our childhood self might be more important than you think. The Six of Cups asks you to take a look at it this week, and consider what aspects of childhood you could reinvest in your adult life right now. What did you really enjoy doing? What were you good at? Growing up doesn’t have to mean putting all your childhood habits and characteristics away… and you can find some stuff you want to rediscover.

Think about something concrete you want to achieve in 2020 (like a trip, reconnection, lifestyle change, home project, etc.)

Write it down and then make one teeny commitment towards it this week. The Ace of Coins is about planting a seed–it’s just about signalling an intention for the future.

The Eight of Cups visits you this week, Sagittarius, and asks you to consciously acknowledge something you’ve said goodbye to this year. Review how this decision came about, how you felt during, what the aftermath has been, and what lesson you can take from it. You love to just get things over with and keep it moving, but reflection could be great here–otherwise, you might make some of the same mistakes over and over again.

Are you super busy? Feeling stretched too thin? It would make sense because the Two of Coins is the busy bee of the tarot. That said, it’s usually temporary and all for the best.

So, this week, embrace your hectic schedule, because TBH, you love this waaaaay more than being bored. Plus, you might find that the more you take on, the better you get at juggling it all.

The literal meaning of your tarot card this week is about craving some sunshine, either physical or metaphorical. A little tropical vacay couldn’t hurt, and maybe it’s the tonic you need RN. If that’s not feasible, then think about a staycation–schedule some fun, rejuvenating solo time for the next seven days and treat yourself. You deserve this.

This week, seek out the Geminis and Virgos in your life, Pisces. They are your fellow mutable signs (aka, they’re as indecisive and adaptable as you), and there’s a project lurking in the wings with all your names on! The Magician is about being a self-starter and using your unique skills and talents to make a living. It also represents those other two signs, so there’s a potential collaboration in your near future that could be EPIC. Look to make your ambitions a reality with the input of a smart, fast-talking Gemmy or hard-working Virgo in your circle. Things could take off.
