Britney Spears, queen of flexibility, just showed off her yoga skills on Instagram

You know, I try not to get too caught up in the fact that I am out of shape. Walking up the stairs at more than a snail’s pace gives me anxiety, lifting weights sounds like a death sentence, and trying to touch my toes (without bending my knees) makes me feel like an absolute flop…which is why I felt pretty darn inferior when I learned that my pop idol, Britney Spears, is more flexible than I am despite being 13 years older than me.

On Instagram yesterday, Britney Spears decided to show off that she’s flexible AF by posting a video of herself doing couples yoga with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari. ‘Only in LA can you wear a bathing suit in October!’ Britney wrote. ‘It’s so beautiful out…and first time to walk on my hands up and down stairs….’

In the video, Britney showcased her progress by doing backbends and handstands.

Yoga isn’t the only thing Britney’s occupied with. In her time off from work, Britney has been leading a more active lifestyle by practicing gymnastics too. Is there anything this woman can’t do? (Asking for a friend.)

Last week, Britney also posted a video of herself successfully completing a backflip and a back walkover on the ’gram.

‘It’s been exactly a year today since I’ve done gymnastics… lol Such a beautiful day to play outside and work up a sweat with the help of this mate!!!’ she wrote in the post. ‘As you can see, my back is too stiff on my back walkovers!! He’s trying to loosen me up and he’s great!!! Such a fun day!!!!’

Honestly, it’s super great to know that Brit is having such a fun time outside of performing and is stepping away from the spotlight to focus on her fitness and health. We love to see it!
