No matter how many precautions you take, you might break down anyway, so make sure you have an emergency road kit stacked in your boot. It should contain a flashlight, whistle, water, blankets and a first-aid kit. To be extra safe, buy a couple of energy bars in case you get stranded overnight. It’s also a very good idea to become a member of the AA so that, no matter what, you have someone to come bail you out. |
