Whether it’s rugby or soccer, men generally view their ball games as sacred. And with good reason: ball games provide one of the best work-outs you can get in the least amount of time. So pull on some shorts and get kicking.
STEP AWAY FROM THE SCALES
Your man uses the fit of his Levi’s, not the bathroom scales, to tell whether he’s in shape – and you should too. Your apparently healthy weight may hide high levels of body fat, which can cause heart problems and disease. Have your body-fat level checked by your GP or at the gym, then eat more healthily and up your exercise routine if it’s too high.
DON’T FIGHT THE FLU
Men famously lay it on thick at the first sign of a sneeze. But they may have a point: curling up with a cup of hot lemon and honey, and the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy, will probably do your more good than stifling your sniffles. By not taking it easy, you can double the length of time you’re ill, spread germs and further suppress your immune system, making flu even harder to conquer.
