Pizza! Now, that we’ve got your attention, let’s get onto the real story… Oh wait, it actually is about pizza!
More specifically, #pizza4good. Sure, pizza is always good. Particularly when it’s from the amazing Italian-inspired eatery, Col’Cacchio. But in this case, grabbing a slice or three will actually directly raise funds to benefit those in need.
Square Up for Charity
Yep, it’s time for the 10th annual Col’Cacchio Celebrity Chef Showdown, in which three of SA’s biggest names square off for charity. Col’Cacchio has collaborated with rapper Jack Parow, celeb chef star Siba Mtongana and internet sensation Nadia Jaftha, to raise much-needed funds for the Children’s Hospital Trust on behalf of the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital.
The three celebs created their very own limited-edition, square-shaped pizzas, which are currently available at all Col’Cacchio restaurants in SA and Namibia from 7 September to end November.
The showdown features a delectable line up of gourmet pizza creations, including:
- Nadia Jaftha: ‘Jou Ma Sala’ – a spicy chicken Masala infused pizza
- Jack Parow: ‘Wors Tokolosh’ – a meaty, braai inspired pizza
- Siba Mtongana: ‘Sibalicious’ – a flavourful sticky chicken gem
Yum! For every celeb-created pizza you buy, R5 is donated to the Children’s Hospital Trust fundraiser for the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. The funds will contribute to their goal of R112 Million to build a state-of-the-art ER Unit. Delicious and for a good cause? Sign us up!
