Siya Jentile is the founder and president of Not in My Name SA. Not In My Name aims to strengthen the foundations of democracy by standing up for the rights of women and fighting against femicide and rape culture.

For 16 Days of Activism, and to raise awareness around gender-based violence (GBV) in South Africa, COSMOPOLITAN has invited eight male celebrities to take a pledge and stand up to everyday sexual harassment of women.

#COSMOMenStandUp asks men and people of all genders to stand in solidarity with women to create a united force for gender equality. For every pledge or engagement of support, COSMO will donate R1 to HeForShe, a UN Women-backed initiative that champions a systematic approach for a gender-equal and non-violent world.
