For 16 Days of Activism, we've collaborated with eight male celebrities to form pledges against the everyday sexual harassment of women. Support and share their pledges below. For every engagement, we'll donate R1 to HeforShe – a UN Women-backed initiative that champions a systematic approach for a gender-equal and non-violent world.

Kagiso Rabada

South African cricketer
Age: 24
Based in: Johannesburg

She was wearing a short skirt so I knew I could make my move… to call out the guy harassing her. A woman’s choice of clothing is not an invitation for sex.

‘I pledge to call out catcalling.’

Kagiso Rabada (KG) is an international cricketer and fast-bowler for the Proteas. In 2018, an international cricket almanac called Wisden named KG the best young player in the world.

For 16 Days of Activism, and to raise awareness around gender-based violence (GBV) in South Africa, COSMOPOLITAN has invited eight male celebrities to take a pledge and stand up to everyday sexual harassment of women.

#COSMOMenStandUp asks men and people of all genders to stand in solidarity with women to create a united force for gender equality. For every pledge or engagement of support, COSMO will donate R1 to HeForShe, a UN Women-backed initiative that champions a systematic approach for a gender-equal and non-violent world.
