Gwyneth Paltrow Has Officially Announced Her Engagement

Her new fiancé and Chris Martin are besties too

After months of rumours, Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk have confirmed that they are indeed engaged to be married.

The couple, who have been dating for more than three years, released a statement through Good Morning America on Monday, along with the announcement that they are on the cover of the new issue of GOOP Magazine, which hits newsstands on Tuesday.

Gwyn and Brad said, ‘We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship.’

GMA also shared a preview of a GOOP clip showing Brad talking about something close to the couple’s heart: deciding on where to eat, a topic they will surely argue about when they’re 90, he says.

The announcement comes some two months after multiple outlets reported on the couple’s engagement. Entertainment Tonight even reported that Gwyneth and Brad, best known for co-creating GleeAmerican Horror Story and Scream Queens with Ryan Murphy, were actually engaged for a year but somehow managed to keep that under wraps.

Happy birthday, handsome

This will be the second marriage for Gwyneth, who filed for divorce from Chris Martin in 2015 and popularised ‘conscious uncoupling’. The former couple, who have two kids together, still remain friendly. In fact, Gwyneth shared this photo of her ex-husband and future husband hanging out together on a typical Sunday in November. See you at the wedding, Chris!
