She’s been taking some time to herself following the devastating news of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller’s death on 7 September, but Ariana Grande wants fans to know that things are going to work out.
The ‘Breathin’ singer skipped the Emmy Awards last week to focus on her mental health, and fans have been concerned about her ever since.
No doubt wanting to reassure them that she – and they – will be fine, she took to Twitter to write simply, ‘everything will be okay’.

She then followed it up with ‘i love u so v much’.

She shared a similar message on Instagram stories, uploading a grey sky with the words ‘everything will be okay’ and ‘one day at a time’.
After her no-show at the Emmys, her team released a statement to People saying, ‘Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much-needed time to heal and mend. She will be staying close to home and using this period to spend time with her loved ones and work on new music without deadline. She thanks her fans for their understanding.’
A week after the devastating news of Mac’s death broke, Ariana paid tribute to him on Instagram.
She also shared a video of Mac, with a caption that is truly heart breaking:
‘i adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. i really can’t wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else. i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you’re ok now. rest.’
Sending love to Ariana and all those close to Mac.
