In case you hadn’t noticed, rumors of an alleged feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton (oh, and Prince William and Prince Harry) have basically broken the poor internet. Like, to the point where Kensington Palace had to uncharacteristically release a statement.
And now Twitter is doing what it does best: mocking the whole thing with the creation of #MyPalaceSource, which aims to call out all the speculation about what’s going on behind closed palace doors.
#MyPalaceSource EXCLUSIVE: Meghan and Harry's dogs Guy and Cucumber keep breaking royal protocol by running ahead of Kate and William's dogs. The entire palace is appalled

#MyPalaceSource told me Meghan was able to visit a group of women for 9 months and successfully organized a solo project without anyone knowing until she was ready to make it public. How dare she be this driven and successful in just 6 months of marriage pic.twitter.com/14G3elmzaX

#MyPalaceSource said that former rescue dog Guy Sussex is proving to be a “Hollywood diva” and has created a rift between the Queen’s other dogs. There are conflicting reports whether Guy will attend Christmas at Sandringham to show a united front. pic.twitter.com/GaurkyglcH

Well, #MyPalaceSource exclusively revealed to me that the reason Meghan wears so much black, is because she's mourning the non-existent work ethic of palace aides.

#MyPalaceSource tells me that Harry & Meghan are breaking protocol by having a loving and mutually respectful marriage; palace aides are worried that certain others might start to get ideas. pic.twitter.com/ZzmTrWmEU0

And yes, royal reporters are well aware of (and pretty amused by) the joke:
Got to say I'm enjoying #Mypalacesource…

FWIW, despite a lot of reports that there’s some tension between the fab four right now, they’re all spending Christmas together with the Queen at Sandringham. What’s more, Meghan and Kate recently stepped out in matching burgundy and black outfits, a clear show of sartorial support/friendship amidst all this recent drama! Need convincing? Look yourself—there’s no way this wasn’t intentional:
