Taylor Swift announced that she will be launching a Facebook-style social-media platform called The Swift Life.
The announcement was made in a short promotional video posted on the singer’s YouTube channel, which features her saying: ‘Hey, guys, this is Taylor. I’ve got something pretty awesome that we’ve been working on for a while that I wanted to share with you. I think you guys are really going to like this. I mean, I hope. It would be preferable if you did.’
Everything you can expect from the app was also outlined in the video. Fans can expect exclusive pics, music, videos and the ability to interact with other Swifties through the social-media app.

Nick Earl, Glu Mobile’s president, described The Swift Life as ‘a deeply social environment where Taylor and her fans are able to better connect with one another, while expressing themselves in an interactive community.’
Glu Mobile is well known for developing Kim Kardashian: Hollywood and Nicki Minaj: Empire mobile games.
The announcement comes after fans have been freakin’ TF out after the 27-year-old was spotted actively ‘lurking’ on superfans’ accounts by liking, commenting and even sending them direct messages.😅
