Sho Madjozi and Moonchild Sanelly are just *casually* performing at Super Bowl LIV weekend

South Africa has been going global! From Sho Madjozi’s song, John Cena going viral to Moonchild Sanelly being featured on Beyonce’s The Lion King: The Gift album, and now they are both performing at a special BUDX Super Bowl event in Miami.

Sho Madjozi, Moonchild Sanelly, and street artist Karabo ‘Poppy’ Moletsane are joining 200 influential creatives from over 20 countries in a curated jam-packed itinerary of imaginative activations which include music, art, fashion and sports. They will be performing alongside global acts like The Black-Eyed Peas, Halsey and Diplo.

‘It‘s such a privilege to be invited to show the world’s creatives the vibrancy of African music,’ said Sho Madjozi. ‘Good news!! I’ve been confirmed to perform during Super Bowl weekend in Miami alongside Black Eyed Peas, Halsey and Diplo,’ she wrote on Instagram.

Karabo will work on the official live BUDX art activation by customising sneakers with her unique Afro-futuristic visuals. ‘With @budweiserza I get to do this around an incredibly unique sporting event, The Super Bowl. I look forward to sharing my journey and my creations with you,’ Karabo wrote on Instagram.

Moonchild Sanelly will also give international influencers a taste of African Imagination with her content on the BUDX stage. ‘I’ll be creating content and sharing my #BudX stories with world-class talent,’ Moonchild wrote on Instagram.
