Another day, another alleged drama coming out of Kensington Palace, sigh! This time, royal biographer Duncan Larcombe is out here claiming that royal staffers have noticed a change in Prince Harry’s typically positive attitude. Namely, that he’s become “grumpy.”
“All of Harry’s staff have always thought he was fantastic, but the two of them are high maintenance,” Larcombe tells Page Six of the Duke and Duchess, adding that Harry acts “quite grumpy and aloof from his own inner circle of staff” which is “very unlike him.”
Larcombe also explains that “What people love about Harry is that he wears his heart on his sleeve,” adding that he’s usually “down to earth, a normal guy trapped in the royal world, and he doesn’t take himself very seriously. But now he is.”
That said, the biographer disputes claims that Meghan and Harry aren’t getting along with Prince William and Kate Middleton, referencing reports that the falling out inspired their move to Frogmore Cottage.
“They’re so, so close. I think that William was just concerned that [Harry and Meghan] were getting off on the right foot,” he said. “Kensington Palace is like a posh prison! You’re surrounded by a public park and one half is a museum. The only place Harry would be able to play outside with the baby is a little courtyard.”
