Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have finally completed their last set of royal duties after stepping back as senior royals, meaning they’re finally home in Canada for good, spending time with their 10-month-old baby, Archie Harrison. And thank god, too, because less time working equals less time travelling amid the current coronavirus pandemic.

According to a Us Weekly source, Meghan and Harry are doing their part to ‘flatten the curve’ by ‘observing the quarantine’—that is, staying indoors when possible and socially distancing themselves from others over the next couple of weeks. ‘They are following the rules put forth by the World Health Organization,’ the source added.

Although staying inside and limiting their contact with others is in Meghan’s, Harry’s, and Archie’s best interests, this likely means Meghan will have to put a temporary pause on her daily hikes with Archie. ‘Meghan takes a walk with Archie every single day through the woods,’ a separate source told Us Weekly. ‘She either pushes him in a stroller through the paved trails through the public woods by their home or straps him on and walks the more rustic routes. The walks usually last around an hour or two, but she takes them daily.’

During the hikes, Meghan’s ‘very kind to the locals she meets while hiking,’ a second Us insider added, saying she usually talks to the random people she meets. ‘She’s all-around pleasant to strangers. She is telling friends that she is so happy to be out in nature and in their secluded area.’

This update comes hours after the Evening Standard reported that Queen Elizabeth will be cancelling her upcoming travel plans and the annual Buckingham Palace garden parties she has every year. ‘We are studying the implications of the new Government advice and its impact on forthcoming events,’ a statement from Buckingham Palace said on Monday. ‘For guidance, we hope to inform the public of any amendments shortly.’
