It has been a whirlwind since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they are stepping down as senior royals last week. Amidst their attempts to become financially independent, news broke that Meghan had signed a deal with Disney.
UK newspaper The Times reported that the Duchess of Sussex has signed a deal with the House of Mouse to do voiceover work on an unspecified project in exchange for a donation towards Elephants Without Borders, a conservation charity.
However, some eagle-eyed fans remembered an interesting interaction that took place at the London premiere of The Lion King in July 2019. Not the one between Meghan and Beyonce, but between Prince Harry and Disney CEO Bob Iger.
Let me refresh your memory:

In the video, you can hear Harry say to Bob, ‘You know she does voiceovers right?’ In reply, Bob says, ‘Oh really?’ and Harry responds with, ‘She’s really interested.’ To which, Bob says, ‘Sure, we’d love to try.’

Fans were, of course, loving Harry taking on his rightful place as Meghan’s biggest cheerleader:
Imagine casually having a conversation with Jay Z and Beyoncé, while your partner is marketing your skills to this the CEO of Disney — and thus securing tf out of your bag.
