- Rami Malek took a little tumble off the stage during the Oscars and needed medical attention.
- He just won the Best Actor category and was distracted, okay?
Jennifer Lawrence wasn’t at the Oscars last night, but that doesn’t mean the world has to go without a clumsy moment. This time, Rami Malek did the honors, but he ended up needing some medical attention, which, TBH, sucks.
After he won the Best Actor category for playing Queen’s frontman Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, Rami was rightfully a little frazzled and just slid right off the stage and onto the ground. If you’re like, ‘Pics or it didn’t happen,’ you’re in for a treat, baby. Feast your eyes on the moment that could’ve happened to any one of us should we be so talented to win:
Thankfully, Rami didn’t seem to be hurt because he instantly popped back up, took a page out of Freddie’s book, and was like, ‘Goodbye, everybody. I’ve got to go’…backstage and do some interviews.
After winning and recovering, Rami talked about how excited and grateful he is to have won. He said, ‘The one thing I can say about this, as an actor, there are so many of us who dream of one thing. Perhaps it’s not this, it’s just getting a job. The fact that I have this is beyond any expectation that myself or my family could have ever had. I’ll just say that.’ Aww, congrats, dude!
