- Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are gearing up to move out of Kensington Palace into their new home at Frogmore Cottage, and a source says they see it as a very ~healthy~ thing.
- Apparently, they view it as an escape from the “fishbowl” parts of life at their former palace—but no, that isn’t a subtle dig at Kate Middleton and Prince William.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting a baby and a new house (which is super unfinished BTW), which is probably making their lives absolute chaos right now. But sources told People that even though they’re busy as hell, Harry and Meghan see it all as healthy and normal. Well, as normal as royal life can get.
A source told the outlet that Meghan and Harry see their move to Windsor from Kensington Palace as an escape from the “fish bowl” parts of Kensington Palace life. But before you jump the gun and cry FEUD FEUD FEUD, know that this doesn’t seem to have anything to do with their relationship to Kate Middleton and Prince William, okay?
The source said moving “is a really healthy thing to do” for Meghan and Harry, and they noted to People that the rigid life at the palace just isn’t for everyone. Which makes sense. Can you imagine living with 20+ people who judge your nail polish? Because I cannot.
“I presume it must be nice to get out and away,” the source added. “Without neighbours who are all either family or staff [at Kensington Palace], they will now have their own thing.”
With Baby Sussex coming soon, it’s all the more important to step back and recalibrate. This morning on Good Morning America, royal correspondent Omid Scobie said sources close to Meghan revealed she’s nervous going into motherhood for the first time.
“Sources close to Meghan say that like any new mom to be, she’s feeling somewhat nervous as the due date approaches, but Harry is there by her side,” Omid said. “He’s decreased a lot of his work to be there for his wife.”

Even so, Frogmore Cottage renovations are somehow still happening, which is super frustrating.
“Harry and Meghan were hoping to move into their new home in Windsor over a month ago now,” Omid said. “Delays are inevitable on any construction project, and the couple want the home to be perfect.”
With all that vegan paint and smart phone monitoring, it probably will be.
