It’s almost time for Thuso Mbedu to jet off to New York for the International Emmy Awards – but before she does, she’s giving two lucky fans the chance to spend a day with her!
The actress, who has been nominated for the second time in a row, shared the competition details in an Instagram post.
According to the actress, two of her fans have the chance to spend the day with her at her sendoff brunch before she leaves the country next week.
‘You must record a video of yourself doing one of two things:1. Record a 30-60 sec video of your best Winnie Impression or 2. Record a 30-60 second video of the speech I should make at the I Emmy’s.
‘Please make sure that you’re able to come to Johannesburg this Sunday as that’s where the sendoff will be,’ she explained on Instagram. Check out her full caption, below:

Thuso has been nominated for the Best Actress award for her performance as Winnie Bhengu in Mzansi Magic’s teen drama Is’thunzi.
This is Thuso’s second international Emmy nomination. Last year, she was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress and was the only African to be nominated.
The International Emmy Awards will take place on 19 November at the Hilton Hotel in New York.
