2011 was a great year, Harry Potter was still in the movies, Adele released 21 and Bonang Matheba donated one of her red carpet gowns to a budding matriculant to wear to her matric dance.
Fast forward to eight years later, and that former matriculant is now a graduate and she’s still grateful for the act of kindness that the presenter bestowed on her.
Taking to Twitter, Babalwa said, ‘@bonang_m you gave me this dress for my matric dance in 2011. Now I’m a graduate I’ll forever be grateful’

In response, Bonang said, ‘Now…. I should send you some BNG!! DM me baby…. Congratulations!! We rise. We soar. We are coming for EVERYTHING!! Proud of you….’
