- Billie Eilish sprained her ankle while performing ‘Bad Guy’ at Italy’s Milano Rocks music festival.
- Billie was so upset about the injury that she shed some tears and ran off the stage because she was unable to complete her concert.
I literally do not know a single teen pop star as dedicated and devoted as Billie freaking Eilish. Let’s just take a quick look at what Billie has accomplished so far, shall we? Aside from being an absolute badass, Billie’s talent has allowed her to secure the number one song in the country and a number one album, which is not so bad considering the girl is only 17. To keep up the momentum, Billie has been touring like a beast recently, which has unfortunately pushed her body to its limits. As a result, Billie now has not one but two sprained ankles. Which…ouch.
While performing in Italy at the end of August, Billie was ready to pump up the crowd during the dance break of her hit single ‘Bad Guy.’ While jumping up and down to the music, Billie put too much pressure on her ankle, causing it to sprain. Billie was already dealing with her other injured ankle after spraining it in Los Angeles just a few weeks earlier, which must be super frustrating.
After getting injured, Billie had to sit down on the stage to collect herself and give an explanation to the crowd about what happened. ‘Dude, I sprained my ankle immediately. That’s so embarrassing. Ugh, and dude, I sprained this one, like, a month ago. This shit hurts,’ Billie told the crowd. ‘It’s so stupid because I’m, like, choked up right now because I’d rather not do a show than do a crappy version for you, like I just want to give you a good show, like I can’t,’ she continued, visibly choked up and on the verge of tears.

Overcome with emotion (and pain, most likely), the whole thing became too much for Billie. “Oh, this is so trash. This is literally a nightmare for real. I can’t do this. I’m sorry, bro,” she said before running off the stage.
It’s hard to find a silver lining in the situation, but Billie says she’s grown accustomed to getting hurt. “I gave up a lot of healthy working limbs,” she told Metro News back in April. “My whole life, I have been prone to injuries. It is so bad, even since I was little.”
The good news here is that since then, Billie has still managed to perform the rest of her tour shows. Sure, she might have to sit down the whole time, but she is such a trooper!
