Eliminated ‘The Bachelor SA’ contestant, Tegan Edwards, spills the tea on which women in the house she’s rooting for

‘They are just a good match’

The Bachelor Tegan Edwards

We are in the midst of The Bachelor SA drama, which means that we have to say goodbye to some of our faves. On Thursday, Xia Narain and Tegan Edwards were eliminated and we had a chance to speak to them.

Tegan Edwards, tennis coach, an ultra-marathon runner and an all-round fitness fanatic had an extremely memorable entrance on the red carpet. Unlike the other women who were chauffeured in various vehicles, Tegan ran to Marc Buckner with her running shoes on. When we asked her about the highlight of her journey, she said it was definitely her entrance, as it was memorable. TBH it was one of my highlights too.

Tegan said watching her departure again on Thursday was disappointing as she felt as if she didn’t even really get a chance to get to know Marc, and for him to get to know her. But she felt positive about how she was portrayed in the show, and the edited version of her that was presented.

Tegan wasn’t on either of the dates thus far in the season so her only time with Marc was during the cocktail parties. But she says she has no hard feelings towards Marc, she said that even though she didn’t get to spend much time together, she still thinks he’s a great guy and someone she could be friends with. She even offered to babysit Luna for Marc, and she said she was disappointed that she didn’t get to meet the beloved pup because she is an animal-lover.

When asked about the drama in the house, she said that she believed that a lot of it was due to the fact that there are strong personalities in the house, which could be misunderstood. But she seemed to get along with most of the women, saying that she hopes that she can still be friends with all of them because she feels as if she has a lot to learn, and they can teach her.

We asked her which of the women still left in the house she would pick for Marc, she rattled off a few names: ‘Jess C, because I think she would make a good match for Marc; Mulesa, she is so quiet and so highly intelligent. Pasha and Silke are obviously the frontrunners. I also really enjoyed Pi because she is so funny and quirky.’

About what’s next for Tegan? She’s starting her own fitness clothing line. So keep your eyes glued to her Instagram for the latest deets.
