Today is the day and we are back in the game and ready to be OBSESSED with the next season of The Bachelor SA. This year’s bachelor, Marc Buckner, 36, is a model who loves the outdoors and is r-e-a-d-y to meet the love of his life, one of 22 lucky women.

We’ve created a lil guide to tell you more about the lucky women who will compete for Marc’s heart.

Meet the women of The Bachelor SA:

1. Xia Narain (23)

Xia is an international model from Durban who was a Top 16 finalist on Miss South Africa last year. She also holds a degree in General and Industrial Psychology from the University of KwaZulu=Natal (UKZN).

2. Tegan Edwards (31)

Tegan is a former professional tennis player from Johannesburg and Pretoria. She loves running and competing in ultra marathons. She now coaches tennis to other players.

3. Tamryn Muller (30)

Tamryn is both a soldier and she has a law degree. She is a tomboy who describes herself as a ‘fierce, unapologetic, determined and adventurous bundle of joy who lives the better version of herself each day.’

4. Stefanie Vangelatos (27)

Stefanie is originally from Greece and works as a social media influencer. She looks up to her parents, she has strong family values and is looking for her Prince Charming.

5. Parushka Moodley (34)

Parushka studied film directing and is originally from Pietermaritzburg. She is multi-talented – she draws, paints, sings and also writes romance novels under a pseudonym.

6. Pasha Dos Santos (27)

Pasha is a classically trained dancer, she is a burlesque performer, choreographer and Pilates instructor. She has a feisty personality and isn’t afraid to speak her mind.

7. Amor Kruger (26)

Born and bred in Pretoria, Amor holds an LLB degree in UNISA but her first love is dancing. She started ballet when she was 6 and even did a stint as a Blue Bulls Babe. She loves travelling and finding adventure.

8. Andeline Wieland (24)

Originally from Namibia, Andeline now lives in Stellenbosch. She has competed in many pageants and won Miss Teen Namibia 2012 and she was the first princess in Miss Namibia 2016 and won Miss Continents 2017. She holds qualifications in Drama and Journalism and is currently studying for her third degree at the University of Stellenbosch. She also designs costume jewellery and clothes.

9. Bridget Marshall (31)

Bridget is a travel enthusiast from Cape Town. She is a qualified lifeguard and loves outdoor activities.

10. Daniella Thibault (25)

Hailing from Melkbosstrand, Daniella is a self-made businessperson. She runs her own marketing and e-commerce venture. It might work in her favour that she is also a qualified massage therapist.

11. Gillian Seetso (26)

Gillian comes from Johannesburg and spent some time as an au pair in California. She studied public relations and enjoys travelling.

12. Greta Sher (27)

Greta is originally from Lithuania and now lives in Johannesburg. She is a nail technician and she loves twerking.

13. Jessica Calder (27)

Cape Town-resident Jessica is a patisserie chef and bakery owner. She loves training, and taking part in intense challenges.

14. Marisia van Wyk (24)

She might be the youngest girl in the Bachelor mansion but Marisia has achieved a lot. She is a speech therapist and audiologist. She is fluent in five languages including sign language.

15. Michaela Liebenberg (24)

Michaela is from Pretoria and is a goal-orientated, ambitious woman. She loves dogs and is looking for a ‘family-oriented man who will support and respect her independence and professional life.’

16. Mulesa Lumina (27)

Mulesa, who lives in the Eastern Cape, has her Masters in Human Rights Law from the University of Cape Town. She is passionate about female empowerment and believes actions speak louder than words. She was born in the UK to Zambian parents. She also has her own online jewellery business where she designs everything herself.

17. Nolo Moloi (27)

Nolo from Midrand is a founder of a social enterprise, freelance radio host and voice-over artist. She loves to challenge the status quo, and her favourite music genres are Afrobeats, Dancehall and Drum & Bass.

18. Silke Geugis (26)

Silke is a physics and maths tutor from Cape Town. She is a vegan activist who loves animals.

19. Qiniso van Damme (26)

Qiniso from Cape Town is a model, actress and studying for her masters in social anthropology at UCT. If she looks familiar, she previously was featured in our 25-Under-25 Fierce Females of 2019 and she featured in our Say Yes to Love campaign.

20. Payal Serbalak (30)

Payal is a Business Development Manager from Johannesburg who climbed Kilimanjaro in July 2019. She has raised money for the SPCA and loves animals. Payal loves travelling and has her provincial colours in judo, baseball and volleyball.

21. Rikki Brest (34)

Rikki from Johannesburg is an accomplished DJ, presenter and actress. She has appeared in several soaps including Isidingo, Generations and 7de Laan. 

22. Jessica Ross (28)

Jessica is a fashion designer from Cape Town and was one of four AFI Joburg Fashion Week winners. She is looking for a man who is ‘loyal, honest, love animals and be health conscious.’

The Bachelor SA Season 2 will be screened on M-Net from Thursday, 13 February at 19:00. DStv Premium viewers can also catch all the romance on Catch Up, or stream the episodes live via their mobile devices on DStv Now.
