AKA Drops 'Beyoncé' and It's Full of Petty Jabs at His Ex Bonang Matheba

Also, leave Beyoncé outta your mess😴😴😴😒😒😒

Diss tracks seem to be the theme of the week, and AKA has apparently jumped on the bandwagon, too. The rapper was caught on camera previewing a song from his upcoming album Touch My Blood in which he seemingly refers to his ex Bonang Matheba.

‘Waited two years just to see you with your weave off, tell me what that say about your character, you was f**king me when I was busy paying damages,’ he raps in the video.

Other lyrics from Beyoncé include: ‘When I left my baby mama I thought you gon’ be my soul mate’ and ‘How you gon’ be my fiancée, living like Rihanna, thinking you Beyoncé’

Wait, what? I mean, we’re all about using different kinds of art forms to express ourselves, but there’s no need to be a dick about it. Also, leave Beyoncé out of your mess. Thanks.

#Beyonce soon trended on Twitter and, as expected, people were quick to take sides.

Queen B – who has pretty much been hush about her break-up from AKA – had one word in response to all of the drama! ‘Lol,’ she tweeted.

AKA then responded with a string of tweets:

This is not the first time AKA has ‘aired his laundry on Twitter’. Fans were quick to remind us about how AKA did a very similar thing around the time he split from DJ Zinhle.

What do you think about the track, guys? Are you feeling it? Or is it petty AF? Tweet us @CosmopolitanSA to tell us!
