Last year, male adult film star James Deen was publicly accused of rape and sexual assault by a number of female porn stars. One of those, 31-year-old Amber Rayne, was tragically found dead in her LA apartment this weekend.
Amber, who has featured in porn films for the past decade, is reported to have died in her sleep on Saturday night or Sunday morning. The exact cause of death is currently unknown.
Adult film director Stormy Daniels, who had worked closely with Amber during her time in the industry, spoke to AVN about the death of her colleague and friend. ‘She was a really good friend, and one of the best actresses and performers that I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with,’ she said. ‘I’m just glad I had the opportunity to work with her and call her a friend.’
Amber came forward with claims that James Deen had raped her in December last year, after nine other women publicly accused him of the same thing. Speaking to the Daily Beast, she alleged that the male adult film actor raped her violently while filming a scene.
WARNING: Some of Amber’s claims are extremely upsetting to read.
Not knowing that the word ‘bitch’ seemed to be some kind of trigger of aggression for Deen, Amber recalled saying something along the lines of, ‘Yeah fuck me like that you son of a bitch,’ while the pair were working on set together.
‘I didn’t know calling him a bitch was a trigger word. I had no idea. I’d never worked with him before,’ she said.
Amber then went on to give an extremely disturbing description of how she was allegedly ‘punched in the face’ while he was still inside her, before he began to go ‘crazy’. She described what followed as ‘brutal’ and added, ‘There was so much blood I couldn’t finish the scene.’ However, Deen later denied all accusations of rape against him.
Our thoughts are with Amber Rayne’s family at this awful time.
