The celebs are known for their weird beauty and wellness hacks. Gwyneth Paltrow – who luuuuurves a good vaginal steaming – has built an entire empire on it. The latest one to emerge from Hollywood happens to be former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham’s go-drink: Moon water. Devotees claim that it does wonders for the skin. And despite how exclusive this beverage sounds, you can actually make it yourself. For FREE, nogal!
Like Water, But Better
So what exactly is moon water? People of the New Age persuasion have been making it for ages and, while there are no doubt people making serious money bottling and selling this stuff to high-end clients, you can actually do it yourself. All it is is water that has been bottled on the day of the full moon. Really.
But what makes water that is ‘harvested by the light of the full moon’ any better than the regular kind that comes out the tap? According to some manufacturers, the biophysical quality of the water is different depending on the moon cycle. Fans of the drink believe that it has been charged with the moon’s energy, making it a great addition to spells and potions. And, apparently, your beauty routine.

I made some amazingly potent #moonwater this past #scorpiofullmoon and I wanted to share my process! Some of the benefits to moon water for me are: heightened intuition, body buzz, clarity of the mind, good for plants and animals too, and a connection to the earthly and astral energies 💛💫! Now that it’s above Freezing down here in Canada I can finally put my jars out in my backyard! Step 1: get yourself clear glass bowl or jars. I love mason jars! Step 2: Most use sprint water, don’t because I don’t have access to waste-free spring water and plastic is truly toxic for Mother Earth I don’t. I have a really good water filter on my sink so I use my own filtered tap water and it works better for me! 3) I leave the lids off and filter out any leaves or sticks after, or leave them in – they really don’t bother me one bit. 4) I usually top it with a selenite wand or add some water friendly crystals to the water! 5). I leave it out 2 days before the full moon and 2 days after to really let it fully absorb! #cheers #witchesofinstagram #🌕 #💧
Mrs. Beckham was so into her moon water when she was at a wellness resort in Germany that she was even worried about how she was going to find it when she got home. She needn’t worry though. Not only are we sure that people who watched her Insta story will be sending her cases of the stuff, but you can also make it at home. All you need to do is collect some water from an appropriate (hygienic) source on the night of a full moon. It should be noted that its magic powers will be rendered useless if collected in a plastic bottle – only the earth-friendly glass variety will do.
This promises, among many things, to improve skin when taken orally or applied topically. We’re not convinced on how legit the science behind this is, but if this is a free pass to a gorgeous glow, count us in!
