Not everyone was born with long, curly lashes. Some of us require products – such as a good mascara – and tools – such as lash curlers – to fake our way to poppin’ peepers. That’s life. But one video posted online is suggesting that eyelash curlers might have even more uses than we think. One of these uses is removing blackheads and yes, it *is* as revolting (and satisfying) as it sounds.

A video by a channel named 5-Minute Crafts recently created and shared a video showing all the different uses for lash curlers. One hack is to make pale lips appear pinker by squeezing them between the lash curlers edges. Another one is to curl a moustache (makes sense, tbh). The one that has the skincare community up in arms, however, is the hack where you use the gadget to remove blackheads. If you are a Dr. Pimple Popper fan, click play and wait until you’re about 25 seconds in. If not, consider yourself warned.

Basically, if a hack looks too good (and too easy) to be true, it probably is. Life’s unfair like that.
This doesn’t mean that you will have to sit with a blackhead colony on your nose forever though. There are plenty of skincare products and tools available to help to keep your skin clear. Here are three we recommend that you can shop RN:
