- Jessie J just revealed her misspelled tattoo on Instagram.
- The singer has the lyrics ‘don’t loose who you are in the blur of the stars’ inked on her upper thigh…but she has an explanation.
Great news for people who have misspelled tattoos (quite literally ME): Jessie J is right there with you. Apparently, the singer is among the shockingly large number of celebrities who accidentally misspelled their very permanent ink, but she seems to care zero amounts.
Jessie hit Instagram to post a casual bikini shot of herself, and in it, you can see her hip tattoo, which reads, ‘don’t loose who you are in the blur of the stars.’ Obviously, it should say ‘don’t lose who you are in the blur of the stars,’ which Jessie’s well aware of.
‘Yes, my tattoo says…”don’t loose who you are in the blur of the stars.” Yes, they are MY lyrics from my song “Who You Are.” Yes, that I wrote. Yes, I spelt the tattoo wrong. Yes, I repeat, it’s spelt wrong.’

Yes my tattoo says… “don’t loose who you are in the blur of the stars” Yes they are MY lyrics from my song who you are Yes that I wrote Yes I spelt the tattoo wrong Yes I repeat it’s spelt wrong Yes I got it done in Essex Yes the tattoo artist didn’t mention it Yes I was 18 Yes I still don’t know the difference between lose and loose Yes It’s the reason I wear everything high waisted And YES I know I have small boobs. Don’t waste your time telling me like I don’t see them everyday 🤭 Don’t @ me K bye
She also explained that she got the tattoo in Essex when she was just a teenager and that she still doesn’t know the difference between ‘loose’ and ‘lose,’ so WHAT-EV-ER. ‘Yes, the tattoo artist didn’t mention it,’ she said. ‘Yes, I was 18. Yes, I still don’t know the difference between “lose” and “loose.” Yes, it’s the reason I wear everything high-waisted.’
Again, as a person who is very much in the Misspelled Tattoo Permanently on My Body Forever and Ever Club, I very much relate to this post. As does Ariana Grande, presumably, considering what she went through earlier this year.
