Holy Sh*t, Demi Lovato Just Dyed the Tips of Her Hair Hot Pink and I’m Obsessed

Pink? For fall? Actually groundbreaking!

  • Demi Lovato’s hair is no longer slime green!
  • Demi traded the shocking green colour for a to-die-for shade of hot pink.

Perhaps my favourite thing about Demi Lovato (besides her songs, obvi) is her distinct ability to pull off whatever TF she wants with her hair. In fact, I am jealous! She can do ZERO wrong, can do any wacky cut, have every colour of the rainbow in her hair, and somehow still have it look chic. There was that one time Demi went blonde, that other time she dyed her hair blue, and then pink, and then blonde and pink at the same timeit’s hard to keep track, if I’m honest, but I could go on and on.

Demi Lovato Goes Dip-Dyed

For most of the year, though, Demi has preferred to keep it natural. She’s kept her raven-brunette hair between a lob and a bob—well, up until recently! When Demi declared that she was officially on her hot-girl sh*t (aka posting those thirst-trap bikini pics), she debuted a cute lil variation on her usual cropped cut. She dyed the tips of her hair (s)lime green! Honestly, it was a major lewk, and I was totally obsessed.

Now, Demi has switched from the lime green (the colour is starting to fade in popularity, TBH) for a new colour—pink! Hot pink or fuchsia, to be exact. Demi showed off her new look on Instagram yesterday and gave us all a lesson in matching your hair to your makeup as a bonus. Prepare to drool over this new hair in 3, 2, 1:

IDK about you, but I think this dye job is genius. I mean, not only does it look good, but it also requires minimal commitment! If at any point Demi doesn’t feel the look anymore, she can just chop off the ends and start fresh. She wouldn’t even lose much hair because she dyed such a teeny portion of it! Beyond brilliant. I hope my hairstylist (Olga, I know you’re reading this) is taking notes!
