With this matric makeup look, you can dance the night away and won’t need a touch-up. Yaaas.
Essence You Better Work! Eye Primer
Start by applying an eye-shadow primer. This helps to keep your eye shadow in place, prevent it from creasing, and intensify the colour
Essence Nude Eyeshadow Palette
Fill in your brows with matte eye shadow in a shade that’s closest to your natural hair colour. After you’ve filled them in, use concealer to clean up around the brows in a shade lighter than your natural skin colour.
Essence G’day Sydney Eyeshadow Palette
Go in with a lighter brown eye shadow as your transitional shade and use a dome-shaped blending brush to apply to the crease of the eye. Windshield-wiper motions are the best! Then use the darker brown shade and apply to the outer corner of the eye.
Use concealer to clean up the inner corner of the eye, and then apply the gold eye shadow only on the inside lid. Blend out any hard lines.
Essence Waterproof Eyeliner Pen
Use black liquid eyeliner to line the eye and create definition. If you’re a newbie, start by using a pen eyeliner as it is easier to hold and control.
Essence You Better Work! Volume & Curl Mascara
Apply multiple coats of mascara in wiggly motions.
Tip: use a spoolie brush to comb through your lashes after every application to prevent clumping.
Essence Glow Boosting + Pore Minimizing Primer
Apply primer all over the face to create a smooth finish. This fills in fine lines and wrinkles too!
Tip: mix your primer and a few drops of liquid highlighter for a radiant complexion.
Essence Soft Touch Mousse Makeup
Apply foundation all over the face and be sure to blend.
Tip: always test foundation on the apples of your cheeks, and match it to your arms and décolletage area.
Essence You Better Work! Camouflage Concealer Palette
Use concealer in a shade or two lighter than your natural skin tone to highlight under your eyes, down the bridge of your nose, your Cupid’s bow and your chin.
Use a darker shade of concealer to contour along your forehead, under your cheekbones and down the sides of your nose.
Tip: always blend well to avoid hard lines.
Essence Mattifying Compact Powder
Set your makeup with this powder for a finished look!
Essence Glow to Go Highlighter Palette
Apply highlighter across your cheekbones, down the bridge of your nose and on your inner tear ducts.
Essence Hey Cheeks Blush, Bronzer and Highlighter Palette
Apply blush to the apples of your cheeks and blend towards your temples.
Essence You Better Work! Fixing Spray
Finish off with a spritz of setting spray!
