Now Ciara is Also Going to be Launching a Beauty Brand

She’s levelling-up her career

It seems like not a week goes by without another celebrity revealing that they are going to be launching a beauty brand. From Hailey Bieber, who is creating a brand with the LOL name Bieber Beauty, to Cardi B, Lady Gaga, Kendall Jenner and a whole lot more. It’s like, are you even a famous person if you don’t intend to dive into the already-saturated-but-we-could-always-do-with-more beauty world. The latest celeb who’s announced she’ll be dropping a line soon is none other than former COSMO cover girl Ciara.

Fans have known for some time now that Ciara has been up to something. But it was at Beautycon LA this weekend where she put an end to the rumours and announced that yes, she was going to be dropping a beauty line in the near future. And we are talking not just makeup here, but apparently skincare as well. ‘The beauty space is inevitable for me,’ she said. ‘It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to do something in the beauty space, and there are lots of cool things that I’ve been cooking up and working on, and I can’t wait until the time is here to share it with the world.’

As for the theme of her products, we suspect that she is going to go with her signature style and opt for ‘soft glam’ shades and finishes rather than bold, trendy products and wild colours. In terms of her personal style, she currently focuses a lot on brows and lashes, with subtle touches of colour, so we are pretty sure her collection will reflect that. While no release date has been announced just yet, she has 23,1 million followers on the ‘Gram, so if any news breaks, it will only be a matter of time before the world knows, too. We’ll just be here waiting.
