Bradley Cooper’s New Facial Hair Has Turned Him Into a Modern, Moustachioed Mario

It’s-a me, Bradley!

  • Bradley Cooper has a brand-new moustache, and it is very big, TBH.
  • It’s giving me major Mario Bros. energy!!!

Bradley Cooper has been FULLY embracing the ultimate dad aesthetic this summer. I mean, I totally get why. After the whole ruggedly sexy look he put on to play Jackson Maine in A Star Is Born, Bradley needed to make the switch from ~zaddy~ back to regular ol’ daddy. Since the press cycle ended, Dadley Cooper has become lax AF by wearing artfully mismatched outfits and sunscreen on his proud Italian nose for beach outings, and he has generally not given a single f*ck about any of it. We stan! But now, in his most recent act of dadliness, Bradley has debuted a brand-spanking-new moustache that I honestly have SO many feelings about. Let’s discuss!

Over the weekend, Bradley was spotted by TMZ spending the day at Disneyland with his adorable 2-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine. And from the looks of it, he had an absolute blast! Bradley went on the merry-go-round and a Dumbo the Flying Elephant kiddie coaster with Lea—where, upon closer inspection, Bradley had a big fat creature moustache on his face. Like, a large and in-charge mustache. Move TF over, BDE, because Dadley has just created BME: Big Moustache Energy™.

If you’re thinking that Bradley/Dadley isn’t the original creator of Big Moustache Energy™, you’d be totally fair for believing that. Perhaps one of the first true innovators of Big Moustache Energy™ was none other than Nintendo’s very own Mario…as in, Mario from the Mario Bros. Mario. I mean, take a look at this and try to tell me Dadley’s new facial hair isn’t giving you moustachioed Mario vibes:

Technically, Mario did it first. He was created in 1983, after all—aka when Bradley was only eight years old and probably couldn’t even sprout armpit hair, let alone a whole-ass moustache on his upper lip. But hey, regardless of the inspiration, we still love Bradley ‘Hot Dad’ Cooper, facial hair and all.
