From the moment she burst forth from the womb and into this world, Blue Ivy Carter was destined for greatness. It could have something to do with the fact that her parents are megastars, with her mother, Beyoncé, in particular being hailed by people the world over as a goddess. Basically, there was no way this kid was going to be average.
In her short seven (and a half) years on this planet, Blue Ivy has already appeared in countless photoshoots and on just as many red carpets. Her latest in what will probably be a lifetime of accolades is being the youngest female artist in history to earn a spot on the Billboard Hot 100. This was because of her writing and composing work she did for the track Brown Skin Girl from The Lion King: The Gift album. So what else is in this gifted child’s repertoire of skills? Apparently doing makeup.
Blue Ivy Carter: Your Next Makeup Influencer
Blue Ivy is clearly a talented girl, and apparently there is another skill that she can add to her long list: doing makeup. In a recent interview at Beautycon LA her grandmother, Tina, said that Blue Ivy had a few makeup kits and that ‘she’s adept at creating a cat’s eye and a smoky eye‘. In other words, she has already nailed some pretty complicated sh*t. What will she do next? Solve all our problems and bring about world peace?
So apparently when Blue Ivy isn’t monitoring her parent’s enthusiasm (and being simultaneously iconic)…
… she is taking her time perfecting her beauty regimen and getting her facebeat on. And considering that she is only seven years old, she might be giving the makeup pros a run for their money by the time she’s 10. Watch out, world!
