As if some of our fav beauty brands aren’t amazing enough on their own, every now and then they pair up with celebs to launch some sick beauty collabs. Here are 10 that we couldn’t get enough of. More, please!
1. L’Oréal X Balmain
Not only did this collection contain some stunning new lipstick shades, but the chic packaging was meant that we wanted to display our makeup like artworks rather than just in our cosmetic bags. Sheer glamorous perfection!
2. MAC X Jeremy Scott
This collaboration was another case of ‘that packaging is so dope I need the ENTIRE collection!’ And the makeup inside was also great – but what else would you expect from MAC? Nothing but the best, that’s what!
SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT I HAVE CREATED WITH M•A•C A BOOMBOX SHAPED EYESHADOW PALETTE CONSISTING OF 29 SHADES, A LIP PALETTE SHAPED LIKE A TAPE CASSETTE WITH A MIRROR, AND A LIL SOMETHING FOR THE CHEEKS IN THE FORM OF A CD ! THE #MACJEREMYSCOTT COLLECTION WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM FEBRUARY 8 TH 2018 AT SELECT M•A•C LOCATIONS SLIDE THROUGH TO SEE IMAGES OF THE PRODUCTS INDIVIDUALLY ➡️
3. Inglot X Jennifer Lopez
This joining of forces is a more recent one, and when we saw the products in this collab, we were shook. The highlighter shades as well as the shimmery lipgloss were definitely the standouts, but to be honest, the whole JLo collection is bomb.
4. 3ina X Clio Peppiatt
If you haven’t heard of 3ina yet, we strongly suggest that you check them out. This brand is playful and quirky, which is why teaming up with designer Clio Peppiatt was such a good idea. And just look at those colours!
👄🔮🎀🍒 Super excited and proud to announce that I’ve designed a Limited Edition makeup collection for @3ina 💛 It’s always been such a big dream of mine to work with one of my favourite makeup brands and I’m pinching myself that the Clio Peppiatt x 3ina Just For Fun collection launches today !!! 🍒🖤💄 #3inajustforfun #3inamakeup #crueltyfreemakeup Photo by @hazelgaskin
5. ModelCo X Karl Lagerfeld
This may not have ever come close to reaching SA shores, but it made the list based purely on the fact that the lip gloss had a miniature version of Karl Lagerfeld on the lips. Who even comes up with this stuff?
6. Maybelline X Gigi Hadid
Gigi Hadid likes going to music festivals, and the line of makeup that she produced with beauty giants Maybelline were heavily influenced by that. Lots of neutrals, shimmers and a generous portion of boho attitude.
The first wave of #gigixmaybelline Jetsetter palettes are here! Inside you’ll find all of @gigihadid’s must-haves for jetsetting around the world: eyeshadow, concealer, blush, bronzer, highlighter, mascara and lip balm. 🙌🏼 Available now @bootsuk online today only while supplies last. Go get em’ babellines!
7. Clinique X Crayola
Crayola is currently collabing with online fashion retailer ASOS, but lest we forget the amazing Chubby Stick collection they released with Clinique a couple of years ago. They brought back some serious childhood memories.
8. Urban Decay X Gwen Stefani
Singer Gwen is known for her bold, rebellious makeup looks, which means that a joined effort between her and Urban Decay was a no-brainer. This palette was the perfect balance of subtle and daring shades, much like the artist herself.
9. Estée Lauder X Victoria Beckham
If you want to be like Posh Spice, you need to have posh makeup. That’s why her collection with Estée Lauder was such an enormous success. Who wouldn’t want to look as chic as the style maven herself?
10. Sinful Colors X Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa was recently named the global ambassador for Sinful Colors, and not only created a eyeshadow palette with them but also a collection of bright nail polish shades. Perfect for festival, or every day, fun.
